Q. How far in advance should we book? A. Popular dates can fill a year or more in advance, so we recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date and venue confirmed.
Q. How do we secure our date? A. Head over to our contact page, and let us know your date, venue and services you are after - then we will send over a no-obligation quote. If the price aligns with your budget, then we will provide a full contract and deposit invoice (usually 20% of your quoted final fee). Once this is signed and paid, the date is reserved in our calendar! Please note that dates are booked on a first-confirmed basis, so we can't hold a date without the signed contract and paid deposit.
Q. Do you require a deposit? A. Yes, a non-refundable retainer is due at booking, to reserve your date (usually 20% of your total quoted fee), with the remaining balance due on completion of the content, or prior to the day of the wedding.
Q. Are you insured? A. Yes we hold valid liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance if you venue requires one.
Q. Will you scout our venue beforehand? A. For local weddings (We are based in Kent, UK), we typically do a walkthrough and venue visit in advance. For destination weddings, we research the venue thoroughly, and coordinate with your planner/venue staff ahead of time, to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Q. Do you offer engagement sessions? A. Yes, engagement sessions are available as an add-on, or standalone service. They offer a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.
Q. Do you work with second shooters? A. Yes, we do on some larger weddings, these are included in add-ons and not part of our standard packages.
Q. What happens if it rains or plans change? A. We always have a backup plan, and honestly some of our favourite shots have come from overcast skies and unexpected downpours — where rain adds atmosphere, drama, and a kind of intimacy that perfect sunshine rarely does. We're completely comfortable working in whatever conditions the day brings, or altering things last minute - meaning the weather or plans might change, but your coverage won't.
Q. How many hours of coverage do we need? A. Most full wedding days run 8-10 hours, covering getting-ready through to the early reception. We're happy to walk through your day timeline together, to recommend the right amount of coverage.
Q. How long until we get our photos/video? A. Sneak Peaks are typically shared within 48-72 hours. With full galleries and films delivered within 4-6 weeks, depending on season.
Q. Do we get the raw/unedited files? A. Yes, we can supply raw footage or images as an optional paid add on.
